The 45 minute Airboat Safari with Wildlands is a truly unique experience which takes you into privately owned areas that no one else can access.
During the months of April to September you can glide across seemingly endless floodplains of the Mary River wetlands system where you will discover a vast array of native wildlife and amazing flora. Your experienced tour guide is available to answer your questions about the wildlife and ecosystem throughout the tour.
The unique climate of Northern Australia brings with it an evolving landscape that makes every Airboat Safari a one of a kind experience.
The minimum age for this tour is 4. Live availability can be found by clicking on the BOOK NOW button. A park pass is not required as Corroboree Billabong is not located within a National Park.

45 minutes
15 minutes pre-departure – Arrive at Corroboree Billabong. We suggest you allow some time to stretch your legs and visit the bathroom before boarding the airboat as there are no toilet facilities on board.
Departure – The Airboat Safari departs from the Wildlands pontoon for a 45 minute tour of Corroboree Billabong and the Mary River wetlands. Your highly experienced guide will try to get you up close and personal with some big crocs and take you through areas of the floodplains known to be a favourite with the hundreds of bird species that call the area home. During the tour, your guide will take you out onto a privately owned area of the Mary River wetland system – the only way to access this part of the world is by airboat and Wildlands are the only airboat company with access to this area.
End of tour – The Airboat Safari tour will return to the Wildlands pontoon where you can return to Darwin or continue on your way to Kakadu National Park.
